Now I understand why my car insurance got a huge jump when I moved from Maryland to New Jersey.
Yesterday, I was driving toward a green light. On my left, the car ahead of me started to slow down on the left-turn only lane. Suddenly a car showed from nowhere to the left lane, and invaded to my lane right before the green light. I didn't have time to think. Stepping on brake, honking along with the sharp screech from tire. My car stopped at 1 inch from accident. That car was still 45 degree tilted.
I know I was lucky, since I saw another car approaching toward me from the opposite direction wanted to cut in front of me for a left turn. Even though he shouldn't. I slowed my car my car already for this crazy driver, and then a crazier driver showed.
My whole body was trembling for an hour, my hands were shaking, and I had whole night of bad dreams. Again this morning, I had another driver cut in front of me for a left turn from opposite direction. He even turned into the wrong side of the road. What is wrong with New Jersey drivers?!
